Well, here we are, Thirty Days! As I had a black horse request, it's only fitting that someone else countered with a white horse request. I had to think for a moment, whether I had an appropriate reference for that. This horse is, of course, grey, but he is what I call a white-grey. This is Thoroughbred stallion Alphabet Soup, best known for being the horse to defeat Cigar in the Breeders' Cup Classic at Woodbine in 1996. This painting is available, $350.00, framed in a black wood frame.
The painting is 8 x 10 oil on canvas, and I purposely left it sketchy, with lots of the blue-toned surface showing through. I've loaned my camera out to a friend, so I had to scan this on a couple of strips of wood to keep it off the surface of the glass. It's far from ideal, but I'm sure I'd never hear the end of it, if I didn't post!
Thanks for coming along this month!

Thanks Elizabeth - glad to be done, though there's always a bit of a sense of letdown!
Excellent work, Linda! What a great project!
I like the effect of the acrylic background on the other posts also.
Where to now...off to another series?
